  This used to be one of my favourite places to have a cheeky afternoon pint! But what I saw today is unacceptable! I was enjoying one the American pale ale, this pint was so nice that I ordered another! But what followed was to my horror, another middle aged gentleman walked in and ordered a pint of Harvey's best, the barmaid asked for assistance as it was pulling very short, making a spluttering noise, when the assistance arrived she was told to empty the line even though it was clearly finished, then the young chap behind the bar took the pint off and said on his way out don't worry I will get the last bit out of the barrel! I find this outrageous! But worse still the young chap found it acceptable to serve a beer that was cloudy and clearly past its best! The young chap didn't even bother looking at the beer! I would of eaten here today but after that I don't know if I ever will again!

  Really great food in the restaurant area. Lamb shank and a pork belly starter were fantastic. Friends had fish and chips and they were 1st class. Pub area is cozy and the staff are all great.
